Getxo Zurekin es un proyecto de la Fundación Doble Sonrisa, en colaboración con NHF, Agirre Lehendakaria Center y Deusto Business School Health. Con el apoyo del Ayuntamiento, el proyecto busca sensibilizar la comunidad sobre la importancia del cuidado al final de la vida. Getxo Zurekin promueve un movimiento social para crear un entorno compasivo para las personas en situación de dependencia, en el sentido de sustituir los servicios paliativos existentes, mejorando la calidad de vida a través de la participación comunitaria.
